On this week’s episode of Onboard Lifestyle we focus on projects that we have to complete rather than projects we want to complete before we head south towards Mexico. We are currently in a area that is rich in WWII history so Emma gets us off the boat for a much needed field trip. Come back next week to see what we are up to…see you then!

👍🤣🏆🥃
Another slick and fun vid. The camera is now your fourth mate. Even Emma’s camera work, tricky but smooth , very easy to watch. You three stars are shining brighter everyday. Love it. “Thinking Epoxy or Thick & Epoxy” what a riot, love traditions. I’m looking forward to the lithium batteries installation. Power on Troop.
Thickened Epoxy? Trading the fumes from one into drinkable vapours from another concoction, I think I get it. You certainly are not bored, on board. 😉
When my grandmother was 16 because she was so small she lived in California at a plant that built bombers fishing wire through tight spaces.
Teal, you surprised me, I expected you to put that riser for the solar panel cables right next to the sofit so you could send the wires trough the sofit and just have a little cover over the cables where they came through the hard top into the sofit.
I was even more surprised you didn't have an upside down U bend comming out of the sofit for this so that it would be invisible from underneath.
Awesome as usual. Fair winds soon. ,,,,,,,,,,/),,,,,,,,,,
I have to say, what I admire more than the hard work and adventures you share, is your family values and commitment to each other! You are a true testament to what family is. You take time for each other and celebrate what is special to each of you. You inspire and celebrate each other talents. I applaud you!!!
Enough work, go have fun.
Congratz to 50K!
Linh , when that boy runs out of projects to do on the boat I think he will go nuts. I can see you guys pull into a marina on your travels and Teal will start working on other peoples boat projects. 😂
Could you be kind enough to share your supplier for Nidacore? I am blown away by how well planned and executed your rebuilds, upgrades and refits are. Been a subscriber since the early days… Simply amazing.
Hoots welding Ketchikan Alaska or me but also in Ketchikan. You get here and I’ll weld it for free.
I have a question about an electronics package I’m looking to get for my boat.
Another great video, well done guys😀
Teal look at this video. These solar panels would be perfect for on the arch. Reflective light from the water. Enough cooling from the wind. And relatively inexpensive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2onYsb9advE
50k congrats!
You should talk to salt and Tar friend who is a welder
Please address question: with winds on the beam can the hard bimini act as a foil and lift the windward hull? Or just get under the hard top and even increase capsize risk? Figured you must have thought of this,
Teal, is powder coat an option to protect the aluminum supports holding the new hardtop
Binged watched your channel, I must say the skill level and attention to detail is absolutely amazing.
I follow other sailing channels and by far yours and MJ Sailing are the ones that most interest me.
Unfortunately, we are still in lockdown in our area and getting really tired of regular TV. Thank you for keeping us entertained for the last few weeks. Only downfall we are now caught up and have to wait for next episodes. Being a mechanical engineer and working with very tight tolerance in my career I can definitely can relate to your OCD. Love it! keep up the amazing work with your boat and channel. The three of you a very beautiful people.
THICKENED EPOXY!!
Its a good idea to saw a length of mesh area in the bottom of the stack pack for rain to drain & air to circulate in the stack pack , Boat & teeth looking fantastic .
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY LINH
.
My Grandmother was a rosy the riveter, she was short also and could fit in the tight spaces She worked with a old man on the other side who would hold the buck, I guess he leaned up against the plane and she shot the rivet into his backside, she was kind of a feisty grandma so I believe it. Anyways My grandpa flew in the transport planes that dumped the airborne on D day. And her brothers flew the b-24s the same plane she worked on.
Making great progress! Almost ready to sail south 😃
You need to get a MAP torch and learn to use the low temp welding rods on aluminum. Otherwise you will be limited by avaliable talent every where you go. Most welders want big jobs with known customers, not little ones with itinerant strangers. It will be cheaper, but most importantly it will be perfect.
I worked for many years at a WW2 daisy chain base in Greenville, TX. The planes were assembled to flying condition back East, then they would fly In hops across the Southern US. At each layover electronics, guns, insulation and other non-flight essential, but combat essential systems were installed. Most, if not all pilots were women as were many of the workers.
Project channel or sailing ?🤔
Thickened Epoxy!!! makes me crack up every time ya'll do shots for TE!
