Splendid Video, Thank you !!!
Pirates and smugglers were more Cornwall, Plymouth's always been a naval base!
Plymouth is a great place to go and see and stay for a holiday and nice shops restaurant and pubs and ride on the bus and boats and nice to walk around and mind the seagulls and a nice hot drink afterwards
So nice to see you in my home town, if I had known you were visiting I would have popped down to say hello !
So sorry to see you had to experience typical Plymouth weather, we get a lot of it, it's a wonder we don't have webbed feet, like all the seagulls !
So much history here, and famous historical figures, such as Francis Drake, Robert Falcon Scott, even Charles Darwin stayed here before his exploration, Katherine of Aragon also stopped here prior to going to London to marry Henry 8th brother.
Hope your trainers dried ok 😀
That place looks beautiful definitely on my visit list got for this year
Even in Plymouth there's trademark of Indians (Himalayan Spices)! I thought only English resides here. Very nice place though for a day's travel. And weather is very unpredictable in England always.
Wonderful!! I think we need a new definition for "I'm going for a walk.' I'm going for a Gimbal!! 😄
This looks great, only been through on the train. Similar to Dartmouth including seagulls!
These old buildings will last many more years. So nice to,see they are being put to good use. Nice waterfront. Thanks.
Can't thank you enough for this video. Brilliant!! 😁👍
Great vlog.
All Devon people are called janners
Plymouth was very interesting when I stayed there in September 2021. We stayed near HOE. Had a fantastic ride in the habor and learned a lot from the Captain's narrative.
And…you saved me another plane ticket . 🤣😂😁👍👍👍
I like boats too !!!
Best Video, As Usual👍🏻
Thanks for filming, have never been there, awesome video. From south Australia..
A good video of PLYMOUTH | Exploring the historic coastal city of Plymouth Devon!🖤🖤🖤🖤
Can you go Glasgow next
Not been there for many years changed a lot
That is a beautiful marine city. THX
Great videos Neil! Happy new year to you! Thanks for some great stuff my mrs is disabled so gives us an insight of best places to go keep up the good work!
I visited Plymouth at a much busier time. So nice to see lots more detail of those little narrow streets, thank you 😊
it must be 50 yrs since i was last in Plymouth & i too love ships & boats . I was born in South Shields Co Durham & grew up with boats so thankyou Neil for braving the weather !
Thank you for visiting Plymouth and especially the Barbican. Your walk around brought back lots of happy memories for me and it looks like you enjoyed it too despite the rainy weather! 👍🏻
My hometown I’m down the Barbican later on lol.
The main thing that stood out in this very interesting video was how clean and litter free the streets around the Barbican are. I know it was filmed in January and maybe when there are more tourists there may be litter but it was very pleasing to see that standards are maintained during the winter months. Well done Plymouth!
Awesome thank you so much 😊
Great to see my city in a different perspective Great footage 👍
Love Plymouth DEVON cream on first and home of the pasty
i'd love to come here, but I'm in New Zealand now. But you came for me. Thank you . I love to watch how my old familiar places have changed over the years through your walks.
I lived in Plymouth in the late mid 80,s, it's a great city, the mayflower steps were apparently much further back towards the hill side were the road is situated, Devon has it's own status, people who visit the area will feel they should live in Devon, air quality and standard of living obviously are the reasons, but Cornwall is better just look.
Born and bred on the Barbican the Mayflower steps to all the kids is called sandy tide.
Beautiful Marine city. Thank you for sharing 👍
My hometown
Caz charge no thanks
Here's a little Janner secret, the Mayflower steps are not the genuine steps that the Pilgrim Fathers left from, the original steps are located under the toilets located in the pub about 40 feet away!
It's a great part of Plymouth , w e often park at Mount Edgcumbe and catch the ferry over and walk to the Barbican, it's a very nice place . Also there are boat trips around the naval dock yard .
Sorry but that is NOT the mayflower steps The original steps are in the male's toilet right opposite In the pub
Pity you didnt sow real Guzz lol Barbican is first class
Thank you for a walk on Plymouth Barbican ❤️👍from a Plymouth Born maid who left there 10 years ago this March
Still in Devon ❤
