Every place has its unique pacing, rhythm, and melody.
I love being swept away and getting completely immersed in a culture that’s not mine.
Travel makes me feel more alive than anything else.
Japan has always had a special place in my heart and the footage for this video was shot in the winter of 2016. It was a passion project that sat collecting dust in my external hard-drive because I wasn’t exactly sure what to do with it back then. All I knew is that I wanted to share how I experience travel because I think many of you can relate. If you’re from Japan or have ever spent some time there, let me know if I was able to capture a small glimpse of what it’s like to be out there in the comments.

VO:
Throw me into the deep end, let me bathe in all that is you
Rip me away from comfort, remind me I am far from home
Let me learn to speak and listen
Let me wander and move to your rhythm
Let me love you, miss you, long for you
Let me leave my heart here and take you with me
