I have not been to Sapporo, let alone in the winter. We were looking at Aomori at the beginning of November last year, but cancelled our reservations and switched to March 2023. However, Aomori has some of Japan’s worst snow totals and we will not be going. Also you need to look for curry ramen which is different that curry rice.
Japan’s milk fat is normally a 3.5% level, so having cereal as an exchange student was almost like being a kid again when you are used to 1%. So sweet. With the sweet potatoes you’ll hear trucks with a sound track, “yagaimo (sweet potato)”. They roasted them in the back as buy them steaming hot and fresh.

店で注文する時は、１は Ichi ではなくて、1個 Ikko または、１つ Hitotsu と言いますよ。

Instead of saying Ichi when you want ONE of something, you should say Hitotsu.
