In this episode, Michelle and Alex showcase their favorite treats from popular konbini (japanese convenience store) 7-Eleven Japan, share them with each other, and try some new items that they’ve always been curious about. Will something new overtake their top 5? Watch and find out!

EDITOR’S NOTE: The audio in this video isn’t great. Sorry about that. I didn’t realize how bad the echo in the hotel room was until after we recorded the whole thing. 😅

WHO IS BUNCHARTED?

We’re Michelle and Alex, a travel-obsessed American couple living abroad in the Netherlands.

In 2020, we quit our jobs to travel the world, and… yeah, that didn’t happen. So in 2022, we decided to make an even BIGGER change, packing up our lives (and our cats 🐈), moving from Austin, Texas, to Rotterdam, in the Netherlands. Subscribe for new videos like this every week!

  1. The corn & mayo sandwich needs to be warmed up in a microwave for a few seconds. It makes it taste even better in my opinion. Much better than cold 😀

  2. Whenever I play Geoguessr or make Geoguessr maps, I'm always struck by the huge number of 7-11s across Asia. They used to be THE convenience store in the Midwest in the late 20th century. These days, that's where you go if you have to walk there or if one of 85 Quik Trips isn't within driving distance.

I would be into trying the Japanese version of egg salad, but it I were in Japan, I'd want to try the other stuff. Egg salad is something you make at home or buy if you are desperate for vegetarian food when driving cross country. The various stuffed buns you tried looked interesting. Did you try more sweets?

  3. There is a way to eat ready-made curry bread crispy and hot.

①Warm the curry bread in the microwave for about 15 seconds(time varies depending on the wattage of the microwave)..
②Heat the curry bread in the toaster oven until it becomes crispy.

With this, crispy and hot curry bread is ready. This method is familiar to Japanese people (some people don't know).😘
