Bukit Bintang is considered one of Kuala Lumpur’s main shopping areas. Often referred to as the ‘golden triangle’, the area is bounded by three lively streets (Jalan Bukit Bintang, Jalan Imbi and Jalan Sultan Ismail) and is home to hundreds of stores, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and hotels. According to the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia, Bukit Bintang area is visited by about 2.5 million tourists every month. Many come here for the bargain and a variety of shopping. Here you can buy almost everything – from food to exclusive cars.
While Bukit Bintang’s shopping scene shuts down after 10 p.m., the nightclubs, on the other hand, open their doors to the public. You can party till the wee hours of the morning. For something to remember after your vacation, this is the place to do a marathon of sorts.
