Day 12 of 12 – Our epic road-trip around the Japanese island of Kyushu ended with a drive from Beppu to Fukuoka.
We arrived at Beppu in the early evening and stopped off at an excellent restaurant for dinner before checking into the ANA Intercontinental Beppu hotel. The next day we explored the famous hot spring hells of Beppu, which was a real 4D experience, with interesting sights and smells!
Our roadtrip concluded with a drive back to Fukuoka, ending an amazing 12-day exploration of this spectacular part of Japan.
