hey everyone welcome back or welcome if you’re new….kinda nervous to post this one! first episode in a new japan travel vlog series I filmed over the last couple of weeks. I went all over the place: from tokyo to kyoto, Hiroshima, okayama, naoshima, and osaka. the highlight of this trip was the food. and the healing I was able to do lol. something unexpected happened in the middle of my travels which really changed the purpose of my journey – stay tuned to see how it happened πŸ™‚

go easy on me, I am a new vlogger…I was very inspired by the idea of slow travel on this trip. I moved very intuitively, and didn’t force myself to GET OUT THERE when I wasn’t in the mood.

    Tokyo is great traveling solo. I had a lot of fun when I lived there, it did help that I had some knowledge of Japanese though. However, people were very kind.

    I've never been one to comment much, but this vlog blew me away! I've been an avid watcher of yours for quite a while (you had yet to hit 5k if I remember correctly), and I have to say you're an absolute gem of a person and creator. Your way with words has always been incredibly captivating, yet somehow this video managed to exceed any and every expectation of mine πŸ™‚ I initially intended on skipping these vlogs, as the genre has never been my cup of tea, but I should’ve known not to expected anything but greatness from you <3 Never thought I'd say this, but bless my momentary pain for forcing me to lay in bed and giving me the opportunity to finally give these cinematic masterpieces a shot :') (haven't watched the 2nd one yet, but I can’t imagine it being any less good than this one has been)
    I truly wish to see more glimpses of your travels in the future!
