◆Otabu Island is an island in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture. It is one of the Hinase Islands and is located in the southernmost part of the islands, 6 km south of Hinase Port.
The north side of the island is a good natural harbor, and there is also a beach. At the port, there is a Genroku breakwater, which is said to have been built under the direction of Nagatada Tsuda, a civil engineer of the Okayama clan during the Genroku era. In 1998, it was registered as a national registered tangible cultural property for the first time as a breakwater. In 2006, it was selected as one of the top 100 fishing village historical and cultural properties that should be preserved for the future. On the other hand, the south side is lined with strange rocks and caves.

It was installed on the top of the island shortly after the port opened. It is a 10-meter lantern with a wooden square tower on a stone platform and a tiled roof with a tiled roof.

    大多府島（おおたぶじま）は岡山の日生諸島の最南の島です。と言っても日生港から南に6kmと近いです。船で35分くらい。
    最初の方に登場する『灯籠堂』は1698年（元禄11年）頃に設置されたもので、石組み基壇に木造の四角塔、瓦葺き宝形屋根の10メートルの灯篭で、夕暮れには火守りが皿に入れた油に点火して夜間航行の目印になったそうです。
    途中に出てくる防波堤は、元禄時代に岡山藩の土木技術者・津田永忠の指揮で築かれたもので往年の姿のまま残ってます。1998年に防波堤として初めて国の登録有形文化財に登録されました。
