First time New Year Holidays after the opening of Japan, it was just crazy. Ueno Ameyoko Street is the most popular place to visit in Oshogatsu (New Year holidays). I visit Ueno and tried to eat Oshogatsu foods but I couldn’t eat because all the places were so packed. So eventually I end up eating solo Yakiniku in Akihabara.

    Can you please make a video showing us how to order street food?
    like some simple phrase:
    1- Can I order 1 portion/ one piece/ 2-3 pieces of chicken karage/ taiyaki/ cake etc.?
    There are a lot of videos teaching how to order in restaurant, but for tourists, mostly we will spend a lot of time buying snacks from street food vendors. I want to hear the actual responses from the sellers too.

    Most of the time, If I want to order something, I awkwardly point at what I want and raised fingers for the the numbers.

    I missed you by one day! My boyfriend and I vacationed in Tokyo for one week and we were in Ueno on January 2nd. We went to Hakone on January 3rd. Disappointed but not surprised that I didn't get to see you in Tokyo since it's such a huge city. We had a blast in Japan and we'll certainly be back. I love your videos!
