As a teenager, Beni began visiting Harajuku regularly and discovered that fashion was another creative medium she could use to express herself. Beyond finding fashion, Beni found a new group of creative friends in Harajuku. Together, these Harajuku kids inspire and support each other in fashion and other aspect of their lives. Beni’s story – of personal growth and discovery on the streets of Harajuku – is similar to stories we have heard from many young people over the years.
