We are taking an RV cross country road trip adventure for the first time.

On this leg we drove into Hot Springs Arkansas to see Hot Springs National Park.

We stayed at Catherine’s Landing which is less than 15 minutes from Hot Springs National Park, and it was beautiful but pricey!

We had a lot to get done in only 24 hours, and actually 2 of those hours were spent getting our truck serviced after driving so many miles and having over 1,000 more miles to drive back home. So in our 22 hours, we walked through Bathhouse Row exploring the National Park Buildings that were open, walking the Promenade in the back to see a more natural side of the park, followed some of the Historic Baseball Trail which I surprisingly really enjoyed, ate lunch inside an old bath house at Superior Brewery, the 1st brewery inside a NAtional Park, had delicious cupcakes at Fat Bottom Girl Cupcakes, drove up Hot Springs Mountain and took the elevator up to the top of the tower, and I learned the baest way to eat pancakes at The Pancake Shop where they serve the BEST pancakes!
It was a very odd place and National Park, but I really enjoyed our time there.

There is a documentary about Hot Springs Spring Training called The First Boys of Spring, narrated by Billy Bob Thornton.

What we did in 24 hours:
1:00 Bathhouse Row
3:38 Fordyce Visitors Center & Museum
7:44 Superior Brewery
9:37 Fat Bottom Girl Cupcakes
10:17 The Promenade
15:11 Baseball Historic Trail
17:10 Hot Springs Mountain and Tower
19:22 Pancake Shop
20:10 Catherine’s Landing RV Park

I pretty much loved everything about Hots Springs and would love to go back to the area and explore a little further out next time.
