Valley Spur in the UP
Hi everyone, this was filmed at Valley Spur in the Hiawatha National Forest on M-94 just west of Munising, Michigan on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
this is a cool video
Wonderful video!!
This is awesome! I'm a trail runner, and I need a new activity when the snow gets too deep next winter!
thats what chairlifts are for hahaha
we have the same problem here in New Hampshire, the beech trees really screw up the trails.
They don't call me Snowdawg for no reason!!
Great video, have to think about visiting.
nice video;) tryed to find a english speaking video about "nordic skiing" to explain a asian friend what I have done today. You explain also the purpose of doing this sport.
greetings from Germany 😊
THSI IS SO GNAR GNAR!
Married to a Yooper who tells similar tales from her youth spent in Delta County.
I think he is going to be a good dad!
Fastest skis for untracked snow? What would you recommend
Did Whitmer place restrictions on cross country skiing? I prefer downhill anyway and Michigan doesn't have much of that.
Lovely, peaceful video!
Not gonna lie I had to look up a video of this activity just to see if it could be done enjoyably, I saw a Finnish tank with a whole squad's supply of skis on the back and imagined myself struggling through the snow trying to ski horizontally but if the military uses them I figure it must be better than walking in some way. Feels like more of an option for me some day now. I love Michigan, I'm from there, but this is the first time I've heard someone say "blessed with abundant snowfall" unironically, lol
Good people…good nature
