Kyoto Station’s Daikaidan Great Staircase is lined with 15,000 colorful LEDs that put on a free light show that you don’t want to miss. Known as Graphical Illumination Plus or グラフィカルイルミネーションPlus in Japanese, these steps have been illuminated every night since November 2012.
