  1. I’ve never seen your method of filleting. Skin, cut out bloodlines and then fillet all on the bone. Fantastic! Thanks

  2. All I need to start my sailing adventure is a nice and sweet blond that looks good in a bikini so I can make money on YouTube and have fun doing it.

  3. My dream is to own a Sailing boat wether it’s catamaran or mono hull, but it is very expensive for me,a simple person living in Philippines,I really enjoy watching your vlogs guys,I am one of your admirer subscribers,GOD BLESS YOU BOTH ALWAYS

  4. Hey Ashley, try fish ceviche, fresh catch, add lots of ginger, onions, lemon, salt and pepper, chili and that's it, the best I can you.

  5. So when you serve this dish over rice, do you heat it up? I just made it today. Haven't eaten yet. And it seems strange that it would be cold and the rice hot.

  6. I have the same problem, when I go to a Big Box Store, I park very far away from the doors, all alone with no vehicles around me….and I will come out and find someone has parked in the spot next to me with the whole rest of the empty parking lot, they park next to my truck…I'm almost thinking this are fighting words…you want to ask the dummy…excuse me sir…does it not make sense the reason I parked in Chicago meaning I would have to walk to LA is because I want to stay away from other vehicles because alot of people get out of their car, let the door go and bang…I get the dents…and yet. because I notice you played the banjo on the movie Deliverance, you had to park right beside me so your tires may not get a sunburn hiding in my shadow…what the freaking hell is wrong with you …Its not my fault you are cross eyed and inbred, but please if you do not have any common sense, become a politician and stay away from Parking Lots….oh this rant was because of the other boat that pulled up fifty yards away from you when they had the rest of the Pacific Ocean to anchor up in…just sayin….ask them to stop tuning their car engine up with the Garage Door closed…Happy Trails

  7. hehe And add Beer ….. im so Jelly, im eatting a bologna sandwich an drinking watermelon strawberry flavored water want to trade? LOL You Guys Keep Rocking!!!

  8. I love eating raw fish but the matter of fact that lime juice does not kill parasites.

  9. If you catch another fish that has an oily texture try smoking the fish then make fish dip from the smoked fish!!!
I had some done like that and it’s really good. I will not eat oily fish any other way.

  10. It you have a beautiful fillet and in the past the fish has had more of a fish taste than you care for soak the fillets in MILK for at least 1 hr to over night to remove the fishy taste. It really works. My favorite is fresh trout soaked for 1 hour fried in butter. OMG

  11. When you are cleaning fish if it’s not beautiful white fillet cut it off throw it way.
The red, the skin, the fat taste like nasty dead fish! Funny huh

  12. Walu??Spanish Mackerel or King Mackerel (Narrow Barred Spanish Mackerel to be exact) Sought after fish around the world especially here in Thailand where your boat is at the moment. Hopefully you can get back to it soon.

  13. Ohh! wow your dish is like Kinilaw in Philippines 🙂 My dad used to make like that 🙂 But the different is he marinate it first in some vinegar and lemon just few minutes and after that you need squeeze it gently and you can add your ginger, coconut milk, onion, and some lemon juice, red chilies and that's it a very yummyyy hope you can try it 🙂 Sorry if my English not good 🙂

  14. Here in the philippines we call the fish marinated with lemon or vinegar, black pepper, chilis, its kinilaw…. but when you cook it with coconut cream, chilis etc etc.. we called it bicol express! Its really hot and super delicious!!! Mabuhay sailing nahoa, Ben and Ashley!

  15. Awesome relationship you guys have….. I've fished with some girlfriend's before and by the end of the day wanted to use them as bait(haha)……………no I really mean it…..

  16. Need more detailed instruction video of filleting different fish or a video of the different types of fish in the South Pacific!! Love it!

  17. Concerning the fish… My Filipina wife makes this every once and then… I am starving for it, so much. With raw fish it is called Kinilaw.

  18. Awesome! So to recap, all you needed to cook/cure the fish was to soak it in lemon & lime juice for a couple of hours?
