Happy New Year! (*´▽`*)/
Okinawa is the southernmost prefecture of Japan.
It is warm all year round with an average temperature of 23 degrees Celsius.
My wife is from Okinawa.
This time we went to my wife’s parents’ home.
I was happy to meet my wife’s siblings, mother, and various people I haven’t seen in a long time (*^_^*)
My wife’s mother taught me how to cook Okinawan foods.
And she made a lot of Okinawan dishes that we eat in the New Year.
The dishes shown in the video are homemade, such as “Okinawa soba noodles,” “10-grain rice,” “Nakami soup,” and “Kubuirichii (Sauted sliced kelp).
I also helped a little with the cooking.
We had a very good time.
Okinawa is warm.
It is about 12 degrees warmer than where I live, so I felt like I was in the tropics.
I will be back to the Japanese cooking channel next week.
(*^▽^*)
Thanks for watching my Okinawa travel videos! (*^▽^*)
