The Kane’ohe bay sandbar is located 40 minutes from Waikiki by car, in the northeast part of Oahu, in Kane’ohe bay. The sandbar is a 10 minute boat ride away from the Heeia Kea boat harbor. The sandbar is located in Kane’ohe bay, with clear and calm waters, surrounded and protected by coral reefs. Many tropical fish gather in the coral reef and it is known to be where sea turtles live.
