Hi, happy new year and welcome 2023! Just this morning we went to a shrine Tomioka Hachimangu in Monzen Nakachou to do 初詣（hatsu-moude) which is known as a new year greeting in shrines/temples as part of the Japanese culture. There are many street foods or yatai similar to festivals during summer. So we went of course mainly to experience the Japanese street food during new year since we were away from Tokyo through all these years✨
