Yesterday, for one of my daughters birthday, we traveled all the way to Nachikatsuura in Wakayama ken. Purpose of this scenic drive was to visit the famous Nachi Falls (那智滝), enjoy the beach and taste delicious local food.
Nachi Falls (那智滝 or Nachi no Taki) in Nachikatsuura, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, is one of the best-known waterfalls in Japan. With a drop of 133 meters, 13 meters wide and 10 meters deep, it is the country’s tallest water fall with single uninterrupted drop.
The surrounding Forrest with its majestic cedar trees is impressive. At the base of the falls you can taste the water by being a small white plate. It’s recommended for longevity purposes and you can see many people drinking it.
