Jawai Bandh Leopard Safari. I went again to Jawai Bandh Rajasthan and this time I stayed in Castle Bera located in Bera Rajasthan. Jawai Bandh is known for leopard spotting as it is only place in Rajasthan where leopards and villagers stay in harmony. Jawai Bandh Safari is a best way to explore granite rock formations as you reach Jawai Dam and later head to look for leopards and if lucky, sloth bear.
In this trip, we also stayed 1 night in Bera, small town located near Jawai Bandh in Pali district. Our stay was at Castle Bera managed by Thakur Baljeet Singh and his family, decedents of Maharaja Maharana Pratap Singh, King of Mewar. We went for evening leopard safari in Jawai Bandh and had amazing experience as jeep drove through the rock terrain of Aravalli Hills.
