Japan’s Trains are a joy to travel on. Join us as we ride inside the new Tobu Revaty Express from Asakusa station in Tokyo to Aizu-Tajima in Fukushima Prefecture. Feeling much like a mini Shinkansen, Tobu launched the Revaty Express trains in 2017. The trip from Tokyo to Fukushima Prefecture takes about 3 hours and is truly a great ride. You can also take this train from Tokyo to Nikko, one of my favorite day-trips from Tokyo.

A joy to watch! Anyone knows what company built the train?
Now build such trains in America π
The train station looks very intimidating if one doesnβt speak Japanese or know what to do. Thank yo for this and Happy New Year to you and your family! Enjoying your Japan series and would like to visit there one day.
Hi Chris. Thanks you for the great information on taking the Tobu Revaty Train. The was very easy to understand and very detailed. I had so much fun travelling on the train.I had an Eki-ben that had a tab on the side that you pulled and it would heat up your food. That was a very good bento. If I plan a trip to Fukushima, I would definitely take this route. Thanks for sharing and take care.
must have been awhile since you visited japan
When was this filmed Chris?
Is the spunky princess enjoying Japan? Will she be making any appearances this series of vlogs?π
Thanks Chris! Very helpful and detailed information.
Definitely would consider taking this train if I'm ever back in Japan and want to go to Fukushima at some point.
Happy New Year, to you and your family, Chris
Love Japan Yellow ππππ Happy New Year π
Amtrak could learn alot! Enjoyable video! Thx.
I love train travel… It was fun in Europe but Japan looks super interesting…
Have you ever made videos on the Orange county to San Diego line or Orange county to Los Angeles line??πΊπΊ
Fantastic and informative video. Japan is definitely on my list of places to visit for sure. Wishing you Chris and Family Happy New Year for 2023.
Your videos not only make me feel like I have my own tour guide but give me the feeling that Japan is not as intimidating as Iβve imagined. Arigato gozaimasuπ
