Our 12 DAYS ROAD TRIP HALFWAY ACROSS UNITED STATES VLOG.

Why do we vlog our road trip?
In an effort to help and encourage families with children to travel. Especially families with a toddler(s) that are immunosuppressed. As you may or may not know, Celeste Anne is an immunosuppressed toddler.
Preparation is a KEY when Travelling with a Transplant survivor child:

-We pre-draw her medication on days that we will be out and about.

-We ensure to take a small cooler with us with dry ice that holds the temperature at least for 24 hours. I found putting the small cooler into another cooler helpful for extra isolation.

– Make sure to double-check all medical apparatus in your med bag.

– bring at least a whole day’s worth of pre-prepared food if your child has allergies.

– Don’t Stress too much and just go on with your adventure.

So yes, you can travel with an immunosuppressed baby or toddler but make sure you take extra precautions. And that’s the reason why we tried filming as much as we can during our 12-day road trip. When driving toward Mount Rushmore we realized, we are about to see one of the most historical places in the United States.
