  1. Ditch the Iodine tables and get the Pure Water, Water Drops. No foul taste, same chemicals used by the water department, and being in liquid form, only takes ten minutes. Another thing you might think about is folding wash basin/bucket, to collect water. I personally carry a few coffee filters to prefilter the chunks out of the water first. Looked like a nice trip. Nice Kukri, I have one I will take camping with me summer of 2023. Stay safe guys.

  2. It’s called Adventure Archives, not Survival Archives. 😆 So having to trek back to the car is just another adventure! 😊

  3. Whoever is edititing this, stop the huge volume change on between talking and terrible music…its impossible to hear them, then blaring loud awful music.

  4. I really don't get why you guys don't get MUCH more views and subs. Your production quality is insane and your content is just immaculate.

  5. What a fantastic true adventure! We are forever learning, and that's where we grow. You guys are awesome! And good on you Robbie for getting the water, energy drinks and chocolate! 🙂

  6. We buy yearly passes to Mesker Zoo. For being a small zoo , they do some great things. The hills there are themselves a good hike 👍

  7. Not to knock Robbie’s amazing effort but I am thinking at that altitude with no farms/residential/farming around you could have used the water without filtering. Call me crazy..,I do normally filter on trail but I think you would have been ok.

  8. 1:15…. I feel your good humor about the rain. My mom and dad raised my brother and I with that kind of make the best of it attitude. A little bit of adversity can be very exciting, as Danny said. And when you have the adequate supplies and you are with good people… It's just fun! Also I love the funny noise that Andrew made when he ran for the tent

  9. I find it interesting that none of you guys ever talk about packing a gun just in case of wildlife violence- I guess the mountain lions and grizzly bears were notified of your existence before you arrived, and decided to leave and go another direction- yeah, right 😂

  10. I loved your cousin! Bring him out more. Beautiful location, beautiful photography. Beautiful all over.

  11. Love it all. Incredible knowledge of plants and mushrooms. Buy yourself a Sawyer water filter with a Cnoc 2 liter bag (regular sized not the mini). Keep up the great videos 👣❤️~Mad Rat

  12. There's actually a water source at white rocks campground. It's just hard to find among the ferns. And the "small shed" at the settlement is actually a "spring house" and the source of Shilala creek, a "Kentucky wild river" that runs down the KY side of the mountain. The sign for Martin's fork campground also pointed to another water source and the actual Cupp cabin. Parts of the moonshine still can still be found by the creek (Beginning of the Martin's Fork River) there. I spent countless hours at the settlement as a kid. Picking apples (my aunt still makes apple butter from those apples), playing in the barn, and admiring the Scottish cattle the park service once had up there.

  13. I wish I knew you were coming to Cumberland gap national historic park. This is in my back yard and where I do most of my hiking. Keeps me in shape for other places I go. Like the Great Smoky mountain. Love your videos!

  14. Hi! Really enjoyed this trip but have questions. 1. Glad that you spoke at the end about the importance of being prepared when hiking. Do you all have training in case of a medical emergency? If so, what training classes did you take? 2. What do you do for swollen knees and blisters/sore feet? 3. Andrew, how did you learn to forage? I read a mushroom book once and learned to never try to eat any mushrooms that I pick because there are so many variations that I would be unsure of what I picked! 4. Hilarious about Brian and Danny looking at their phones while Robbie went all the way back to get water. 5. Glad that you include disagreements and frustrations while hiking. Not all hiking is easy. 6. Can AA's shirts for sale be like the one that Andrew wore in the video (like shirts that stretch)? Thank you for another fun hike!

  15. @4:05 as someone that's grown up in the south that most definitely not a magnolia tree. Their leaves are thick and velvet brown on the underside and dark green on top.

  16. Big no with that pump filter put a cooking pot or other Container to not pick up all the sand and fine dirt that at the bottom

  17. If the water is too shallow to scoop, make it deeper. Sand is known for it's ease of digging.

Sorry guys but that was kind of a duh moment on your part

  18. Another banger of an episode! Love the end video movie shorts and secretly look forward to them everytime! 😀 way to kick off the new year guys!!

  19. Umm, digging a hole next to the water source would have helped or digging a small hole in the shallow pool would have allowed them to dip water, boil, store….. Oh my.

  20. Love your video! Fantastic and very high-quality videos and photography. Really appreciate listening to your expertise about flower and fauna. Thank you very much.

  21. You should check out lost cove on the border of TN and NC ..it's a depot where the cival war supplied where dropped off on the rail road then the family's stayed there a town all left by it's own for fifty years or so moonshine country it's on Erwin ask at uncle Jonnys hostal

  22. I wouldn't worry about all those people saying sleeping in a tent with another man is well…perfectly fine of two men want to cuddle and have alone time naked with each other ….in a tent together …it's fine even if that not the case it's a camping trip no one gonna know or say any thing reminds me of that joke of you went camping with a friend and woke up with a condom in your butt would you tell any one? … Either way they awnser wanna go camping …
