Visit Japan during sakura cherry blossom season is a must-see event! The whole country is in bloom with beautiful white and pink tufts of flowers. If the cherry blossoms of Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo are not impressive enough for you, the food and city lights will do it.
Osaka and Tokyo feel a lot like Time Square with their large billboards and flashing neon lights that never sleep. Both Osaka and Tokyo have dedicate shopping districts for restaurant and kitchen gear. If you are a home kitchen knife wielding, pan slinging, lover of cooking and food — you better hope you brought an extra bag to check in. Japan is the best place to buy high quality knives and kitchen goods.
Out of all of the sakura parks, my favorite was Chidorigafuchi park!
