You know what's funny? I literally just stayed at the exact same hotel 1 week ago when I was in japan lol. It is small but pretty good designed. The bar and front desk combo is unique. Glad you enjoyed it!

The design of the doors of the rooms reminded me of doors in prisons in American movies.
I'm sorry that the hotel was disappointing for you. I've read that the hotel is in a red-light district – is this true? You can't fault the Moxy for trying to be different from other hotels. The communal area with a 24hr bar is good. As for your room with a 1st class view of the expressway!, it might be a bit small but I found it cosy to be honest. I'm unsure if I'd stay there though. Take care of yourself and have a great week.
the doors dont look "cheap" per say, they are styled to the theme of the building which is an old fashioned theme

でも、やはりホテル好きにとっては一度は…マリオットホテルは高くて泊まれないけど、ここはマリオットホテルより確かリーズナブルですよね❓
なんていうか、日本のホテルで言うところの三井ガーデンホテル➡シークエンスや、ロイヤルパークホテル➡ロイヤルパークキャンバス…見たいな雰囲気かなと勝手に思ってます🤔
ちょっと色々と気になる点がありますが、もし安いあれば泊まってみても良いかな…程度ですね😅😅

New Year was pretty stressful 😅big family event. I like the design of the hotel, but it's a bit expensive and the breakfast seems kind of disappointing
I have never really had a desire to go to Japan but watching these has made me think that maybe I was wrong. Now, given my age and financial situation, I probably won't ever make it but I thank you for opening my eyes and mind to the possibility.
