Sakura + Kumamoto Castle

Within the first few seconds of this video, there was a lady who totally caught me creepin’ with the camera. 🙁

While Dan came to visit, we were lucky that the sakura was still blossoming towards the end of March when we finally made our way back to Kumamoto. First thing we did was go to Kumamoto Castle to check out the blossoms. Lots of people were enjoying their hanami (花見), where they sit together under the sakura trees and enjoy some food usually paired with beer or sake. Dan and I didn’t have time to partake in such a thing (I had to get back to work), so we wandered.
