Karakoy is a unique historical quarter rich in sights. For a long time, the coastline of the quarter, stretching from the Golden Horn to the entrance to the Bosphorus, was closed to the public. The total length of the embankment is 1.2 km.

Today, where the townspeople are already accustomed to seeing scaffolding and a closed area, the Galataport complex has been built.

Galataport is a whole city that includes an underground cruise terminal, a hotel, streets with cafes, shops and restaurants, exhibition areas, as well as a real boulevard on the seashore, from which magnificent views open.
