It’s time to head back down to the lower 48 for the rest of the year! On our way up to Alaska we drove the Alaska Highway through British Columbia, but for the way down we took a different route, the Stewart-Cassiar Highway. During our 4 days driving down the Cassiar Highway, plus part of the Yellowhead Highway, we saw stunning bright blue lakes and tons of mountains, learned about jade, camped by a lake, enjoyed some smaller towns, saw BEARS, and slept overlooking an insane glacier. It was one of the most memorable experiences of our summer!

  1. Wow! These last two videos were beautiful! You guys are just so lucky to be able to experience such unique and beautiful places. The best part is that you take us along! Plus the bonus of the bears enjoying a swim and a meal. Thanks for sharing!

  2. My husband and I anxiously await your new video releases and check YouTube every day to see if there's something new. We have seen many of your videos and first found your channel when we were planning our last Florence Italy trip. It's not just the beautiful places that you visit but how your love and commitment and pure joy of being together really come through on your videos. The way that you look at each other as you experience something new together is truly inspirational. We always feel like we are along for the ride, not just learning something from you both. Continue doing what you do and we cannot wait to see what your future holds for you; not just new videos, but where your popularity takes you on your journey. (We're betting on your own show on the Travel Channel because you are both so marketable! ) Stay safe, stay well and wave as you pass through Oregon again!

  3. If I was you, I'd be very tempted to hang a left (go east) to explore the rest of Canada. Lol. Thanks for all your videos. It's been fun to follow along on your journey and see the beautiful areas that I hope to explore myself one day.

  4. Such a grand finale to your North of the Border adventures, wow! Loved seeing the bears as you did too. Scenery is to die for up there, thanks for taking us along!

  5. This was fantastic. Not only for the video, but for the sheer joy that both of you have in everything you do from a simple pumpkin spice latte to the epic wildlife. You really make us want to experience these parts of the world. Thank you as always for a wonderful job and for sharing.

  6. I bet these are some of the best bear footage by anyone on this adventure. ๐Ÿ™‚ ( Plus I love you guys' energy)

  7. Your bear videos are the finest quality "bear eating salmon" videos that I've ever seen anywhere on youtube!. You guys were very fortunate to see them; but your photography was outstanding!. that was a lot of fun!.

  8. Enjoyed your video! Did that trip 5 years ago, including your detour, amazing views and I still refer to the trip as Bearapalooza! Glad they came out of hiding for you. I also saw a couple of herds of Bison on the Alaska Highway.

  9. I've just found you guys and already I think you may be my favorite RV Travel bloggers. I love the photography and those bears were awesome. Just doing their bear thing! Keep up the good work. I'm living vicariously through you! ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. I have loved your trip up to Alaska. You guys are so positive, your footage is stunning, and your production is professional. I love how you made the Dempster Highway look achievable. We live in New Zealand and are no strangers to gravel roads, but other channels we've have made the trip up there look really dangerous and painful. So thanks for the positivity, and we hope to be doing this trip in the next couple of years. (Just need to find ourselves a van!)

  11. Hey there, really enjoyed watching your Alaska adventures! Do you plan on or do you have a published list of your route/itinerary? We would really do like the route that you took itโ€™s just we kind of got lost in tracking you using the videos. Thanks

  12. So sad this adventure is over (for now), but looking forward to seeing the areas of the US you'll hit.

Thanks for the fabulous & momentous ride!!!

  14. What a journey, thanks for taking us along! So glad you guys got some amazing bear footages. The mama? bear and the cubs walking across the highway is so cute!!!!

  15. Hello Adventurers๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š, WOW…WOW…WOW…Glaciers and big BEARS!! OMG I couldn't stop watching that awesome footage of that BEAR!! AMAZING GLACIERS…WOW!!! This was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘!

  16. Amazing video and couple.I had surgery on my shoulder and got behind on the videos but im benging them now.I loved the coffee and beats and cute little towns.Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.

  17. Oh my gosh those views WOW!! And watching that bear must have been incredible!! Just seeing your joy watching him is so uplifting, keep up the positive vibes with your videos!! You guys are doing an awesome job and are my favorite YouTube channel!!

  18. Thank you for doing such a beautiful showcase of where I live. I recognized so many places, but I now have the Gitwangak Battle Hill site on my bucket list. And maybe camping at the top of the Salmon Glacier!

  19. Another beauty! Water is just gorgeous!! Drone footage is so fabulous! Love the views! Kona is having a blast too!!! Oh my goodness Momma and 2 babies!!!!! Lots of pretty kitty cats too! Take each adventure as it's on special place in time that you are blessed to experience and hold in your hearts and minds forever. SO FREAKING COOL THAT BEAR CATCHING A SALMON!!! Great footage, I mean fantastic!!!! Love the frolicking bear spotted in the water while driving along the road too! Wow such a treat! What a lovely lake you have! haha! Keep dancing y'all!

  20. One time in the early 1970s I was in Texas and maybe finished 1 shot of everclear … it was a terrible — loose sober minded experience. Seriously dangerous … and … oh, I forgot … 2. Nothing like a fast content bear.

  21. Your video of the bear was amazing. What type of camera did you use to capture that?

  22. hi! I live in the taiga in north Quebec glad to see you guys love our great isolated parts it sure has its beautiful spots glad to yall are safe too here in the taiga woods it takes 3 hours for 911 to respond and there are no hospitals for 112 miles only clinics sure is one hell of a place to live but it is easy to go missing up in these parts(not to mention hostile winds). the sunsets have to be the most spectacular ones it's like living in a book here's one place I loved in British Columbia it has to be MT Waddington just looking at it feels like the top of the world BTW bears are so common where I'm at that they don't even mind me they just like visiting my place every now and then sure is a unique part of the world

  23. I've enjoyed watching your journey to and from Alaska. Appreciate all the research you do and share so eloquently. I've been to Alaska 3 times, but have never driven from the lower 48. You've given me many great ideas when I drive there in the future. Glad you got to see the grizzlies close up. Awesome experience.

  24. It really is too bad you missed the NISHGA VOLCANO ! It is about half way between Stewart to Terrace about 20 km from the hwy37. The road is a look coming back to the hwy in Terrrace. The volcano dome is a very long hike from the access road .But the lava flow is over 70 km long and in places 70 ft deep, from mountain side to mountain side. It empties into the Nass river where it killed 4500 people in minuets and buried the town of Aiyansh. There is now the town of NEW Aiyansh built up higher on the hillside. The lava flow is still fully visable with many trees and has moss growing on some of it. The area of the SUNKEN FORREST is a visual delight It looks like clumps of trees floating in islands of GIN CLEAR water. The DRONE LAWS IN CANADA ARE SIMPLE BUT " you must be CANADIAN TO FLY a drone" The desiogination of a drone is one weighing 251 grams -14 kg. So INTERNATIUONAL VISITORS BRING A MAVIC MINI2 OR MINI 3 and you can fly anywhere other than 5km around a certifies airport or in a nation or provincial park. I know IT SUCKS. CHEERS AND SAFE TRAVELS Steve h. PS ON THE WAY TO Terrace stop for the night at KITSUMKALUM LAKE it is a FREE campsite and the lake is as green as the one at the start of this video.

  25. I love her reactions to the scenery! She really appreciates everything.

  26. I was looking for a traveling channel on exploring Canada and making road trips in the future. Boom !! I found yours the best. love your videos and I would recommend it to my friends and family โค

  27. What an epic trip!!! I didn't think you could top your Dempster Highway video, but this is incredible! I live in BC (Vancouver), but I had no idea these spots even existed! Salmon glacier looks unreal! Definitely planning a BC roadtrip for next summer!

  28. Loving your Alaska/Canada videos, as I lived 15 years in Alaska (10 in Fairbanks and 5 in Anchorage), starting in 1975, so they're quite nostalgic! It was during pipeline construction years, and it was fantastic! Like living on a frontier! Have you ever watched Itchy Boots here on You Tube? She covered (on motorcycle) many of the same locations that you have. Oh to be young again!

  29. You guys are great ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ !
Thanks for the informative and enjoyable videos ! My wife Janelle & I hope to retrace some of your Canadian Travels on our motorcycle in 2023 ! Keep up the great work – safe travels in 2023 !
