If you love Vietnamese food I recommend trying Banh Canh, and Vietnamese offal congee or duck congee. Its hard to find but it is delicious.
Only Asian cuisines I like is mainly korean cause I'm 100% korean n I like Japanese food. Don't really like Chinese n other Asian foods. It's not my taste plates.
Andrew said His Mom made a lot of Hamburger helper?
I would never call myself an asian foodie, whatever the fuck that means… I just grew up loving asian food, particularly cantonese cooking. I've been trying to expand my tastes to more Japanese, Korean… and hopefully some more Malaysian/Singaporean stuff. I need to go back to re-discover more Viet food and Filipino.
I'm a white guy asian…
David and Andrew, you forgot to mention that Vegas also has tons of authentic Asian foods. You have to go off the Strip to find them, though.
Really appreciate this video ! My pick for Vietnamese would be five spice caramel pork .
Where the Hmong food???
I'd say I'm still a rookie foodie. When I traveled to Seoul, South Korea about 5 yrs ago…. that's when my life changed forever and it opened my palate to so many different kinds of food. Ever since then I've been on a foodie journey to seek out and try every kind of food I possibly can.
Goat Caldereta > Beef Caldereta π
Hi. I am a white guy from Australia and just wanted to say how much I like your channel. Gotta say I am really impressed by your broad knowledge of Asian cuisines. Also interesting to hear about what is popular in US versus here in Australia. I live in Darwin, which is a tropical city with large Asian population, so dishes like Laksa and Paw Paw Salad are iconic in our town.
David talking about the banh cuon… I feel that. One of my favorite Vietnamese dishes. I also wouldn't mind seeing more places serve bo kho and bΓ² nΓ©. Also, those sausages at Laos restaurants are fire.
Glad u guys put a spotlight on Burmese food. My parents are from Burma so I grew up eating it. It's very underrated unfortunately. Burmese food is π£!
I consider myself a intermediate. I haven't had much southeast asian food besides Thai, viet. Not too many places in my area have southeast asian food
倧ι¦θ Έε ε°ι¦θ Έ yeah delicious
PLEASE cover the video from Inn & Out at San Ramon where a racist white guy was berating an Asian couple, calling them chinks and himself a slave master.
The sky has dragon meat, the land has donkey meat…
Love to hear Uzbekistan which also has similarities with Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan food and culture. Those parts are not as famous as other Asian countries. Especially when a lot of them look like Chinese asians.
1:46…Love me a good ol' fashioned meat biscuit. (yok beng) with salted duck egg.
My 93 year old mom is from Tai San, and she can still muster up the strength to mince a steak and steam it.
Chinese blood pudding. Not exactly haute cuisine, but more for the peasant/poor people food.
They serve this in Cantonese restaurants.
I love hotteok. Sullung tang is a bit advanced as well. Kalbi tang is a good intro to Korean soups and move from there
how are you guys not eating intestines? that's the best part sometimes. you need to do korean bbq intestines. there's a reason why the lines are out the door
Loving how you guys naming all these korean dishes from the hip
Korean chicken stew is a must try. Aka daktoritang
As a Korean-American, THANK ππΌ YOU ππΌ The stews or tangs/ν are the way to go!

ahhhh, Gopchang…
Tried fugu in Japan as well, nothing special, gotta say kujira taste alright, it's like salmon with beef texture because mammal. Funny enough there's white American guys eating in Kujiraya Japan.
Suggestions: CN-Guangxi: Luosifen (θΊθη² Snail/Whelk Noodles); MY/SG: Laksa; PH: roast suckling pig (not sure where one can get it outside of caterers). BTW, you guys know that one can order a whole roast suckling pig from almost any Cantonese rotisserie, right?
Love the coverage of so many Asian countries. Iβve explored other asian foods but not to the extent you guys have. I am limited here in Denver but whenever Iβm given an opportunity to try something new I 100% will. Dinaguan is a tricky dish, I liked it when I was young but havenβt had it in so long. Also, kare kare is delicious that many non Filipinos enjoy. Whenever someone is open to trying Filipino dishes I will whip them up or bring them to a Filipino restaraunt thatβs fairly new here. Love the content as always!
I live close to Flushing, NY. Where should I eat? And what should I eat? I'm a pescatarian (for health reasons) – seafood and veggies. I keep my carbs low because I'm diabetic. Please advise.
