In this last episode of 2022, I ventured out just after a heavy snowfall, my first shoot in the snow this winter. There were perfect conditions to capture a minimalist pano shot of the lake and much more! It was a great day of photography to end the year on.

  1. Happy new year buddy! It’s been so fun to watch your photography journey this year. Looking forward to watching more of your adventures in 2023!

  2. Shaun,

Happy New Year to you and your family!

Congrats on the Pana! I think you took a tough composition and made a great shot! (And learned a new technique?) It is unique, and very wide, which I like.

I was getting really frustrated at you when you started whining about not having the right lens … not wide enough with this lens, not even with that lens…. The composition was soooo good! Single trunk at the bottom, but two growing out….barren until the top left …snow, snow….and the evergreens on each side. Wow, what a waste not to get it.

And…..then you managed to do it! Yeah! Thanks for taking the time to figure out how to do it, and you nailed it very well. One of my favorites!

All the best for a prosperous and successful 2023!

    Greg

  3. This was quite possibly one of the most joyful of your episodes. I laughed several times. Also, the pictures were so beautiful. Well done! I can't wait to see what you do next year. Congratulations on an entire year on YouTube. I think you make the place better. 🙂

  4. Hey Shaun, greeting from Boston! Looking forward to seeing your new videos next year, take care, and I hope to see you soon!

  5. Such a wonderful winter wonderland. I can't believe how much glorious, soft, white snow you get over there without having to go to a ski resort – very jealous! Thanks for another enjoyable vid Shaun, and great to see you having a ball out there and getting some lovely photos. The snow somehow always brings out the inner child in us all 🙂 Happy New Year!
