  1. When I saw that thumbnail in my sub box I was wondering, when I subscribed to this channel. Then I clicked. And damn was I surprised to see your face suddenly ^^ Great stuff 😉

  2. Burn baby buuurrrn! I absolutely love your vid reviews and cooking/prepping at home excerpts. You're not fake. You talk about and document experiences honestly. Keep on keeping on!

  3. Great video, dose not matter what time of the day I watch them, I need to eat after. A bit worried about that thing on your head though. 🙂

  4. When I was in Japan, I did a similar thing. Sushi from a convenience store, a cheap 100 yen sushi train, Endo Sushi at the Osaka Fish Market that cost about 10-15 bucks, I had plate 1 and 2, then I also went to Sushi Marunouchi in Shibuya which ran about 6000 yen. They all had their own charm and environment to feel worth it.

First we got to our airbnb and went down to a FamilyMart to stock up, and having that bite of onigiri and sushi was the perfect teaser/opener to Japan. The Sushi Train was a fun environment, many different people there, surprisingly good quality fish. Endo Sushi was great just being at such a place by the fish market, the plates were good, the sushi master was right behind the bench, the actual restaurant is tiny and can only sit 10-15 people at a time. Then finally Marunouchi was the topper of them all, great omakase, was absolutely stuffed and floored with the selection. My next trip to Japan I plan on going for one of the higher end 200+ usd omakase menus, currently eyeing Sushisho Saito that runs a 350 USD omakase.

  5. Matt, i loved it, my favorite episode thus far. i really wish it was longer (20 30 min.) i completely understand wanting to stay tight lipped on your favorite secret spot, BUT. im going back to Japan in about a years time and would love to eat at your favorite sushi spot. if you would not mind just shooting me a message directly i would greatly appreciate it. PS while you are in Japan you should do a video reviewing whale and basashi (horse). of the people i know, whale has mixed reviews, basashi on the other hand everyone seems to like quite a bit. thanks for the videos. <*((((>{

  6. sushi from the supermarket is actually cheaper than 7eleven and it's waaaay better
because it's daily prepared and they put a discount on it after a certain hour

  7. Value of this review goes down when you don't share the name & location of the $200 sushi restaurant. What's the point of putting it in the review?

  8. Anyone have an idea what that last sushi place is? I'm trying to do some detective work. 🕵️‍♂️

  9. Hello Matt : if one day you come to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in the city : Luxembourg Hakii Belair Sushi (see Hakii Belair on Instagram)
there are  also the Yamayu Santatsu and Kamakura in Luxembourg City
and outside Luxembourg city there is the Kyoto Sushi in Hesperange.

Another top seafood place in Luxembourg is the Brasserie Guillaume (all year)
(which also has the best all you can eat carpaccio from 15th of January to 15th of March).

For one of the best seafood with best price/quality/amount ratio, go to Portugal or Brazil.

In  Luxembourg we have a lot a amazing Portuguese restaurants with Seafood, some good Brazilian restaurants too, a lot of good Italian restaurants, san^me for French cuisine and the highest density of one star Guide Michelin restaurant on the planet, also the Chiggeri restaurant used to have the Guinness World record of biggest wine card in the World.

The ultimate restaurant probably (even one of the best in the World for decades) is the 3 star Guide Michelin Victor^s Gourmet at the Hotel Schloss Berg near Luxembourg in Germany.
Near that in Saarburg you will find probably one of the best white wines and best Eiswein (Ice wine)  in the World : Egon Müller IV owned Weingut Egon Müller Scharzhofberg.

Should you also make a stop in France, may I suggest Restaurant Paul Bocuse.
(or as an alternative one of his best students Lea Linster in Frisange Luxembourg).

I like your photography channel for years and only discovered this channel today.

    Continue the good work.

    Have a nice day.

  10. I just don't understand this stupid youtube yes showing us the place where you eat and tell us the experience is great and all but you do tell us where you find it what's the name like tf so what's the point of showing us for????

  11. Hello. I love seafood so much ! Hopefully I will never buy the store sushi. I can only dream about the $200 one experience yum yum. Thanks 🙂

  12. How are you going to review a restaurant and gush about how good it is, but not say it's name or location?
Don't you think the owner and employees would appreciate the good review? Don't you think they'd appreciate the influx of customers due to the good review? Your selfishness in keeping it to yourself so you don't have to experience a price increase actually HURTS the business and it's workers.
    Tsk tsk tsk.

  13. I watch all your videos and was really disappointed to notice I hadn't seen this one pop into my sub box ever! (3 months late of course now)
