A quick blat up the Cat & Fiddle A537 on my 2022 Suzuki GSX-S1000GT to test the sound of my GoPro Hero 10 after many, many wasted hours of footage resulting in terrible audio when the GoPro camera reverts uses the media mod or inbuilt microphones even with an external microphone attached to the media mod. Be aware that GoPro is aware of an issue affecting several GoPro models when using QuickCapture and it also seems to affect the newly released HoPro Hero 10 too https://community.gopro.com/s/article/HERO5-Black-External-Microphone-Information?language=en_US

After searching online I found the answer in RoadReality channel on YouTube, who suggested doing a factory reset after a firmware upgrade, and I can report that it works a treat!
So a big thank you to @RoadReality – I can’t thank you enough.
Maybe this is also a solution for @teapotone who also experienced sound issues with his GoPro.
@GoPro have a word with yourselves!
@GoProTips you may want to add this workaround to your lot.

Also, does anyone know if there’s a setting to alter the North orientated map to a direction of travel orientation?

  1. Stop bringing us problems Paul!😂 does your satnav take the maps from your phone so can you change the settings on that?

  2. Hey there! Thanks for the shout-out – I'm so happy the fix worked for you as well! Such a simple solution, but hard to find. Like you, I was at my wit's end with the Hero 10 before I figured THAT one out!

Such great scenery over there, beautiful! Ride safe!
