A slower option to get between Naha, Okinawa and Zamami Island (in the Kerama Island group) is with the car ferry ‘Ferry Zamami’. It leaves from Tomari habour in Naha. It typically sails two round trips per day, but due to it’s size it depends on the weather.
The big advantage (except from the price) with taking this ferry is that you have plenty of time to go outside and enjoy the incredible beautiful view when you sail through the Kerama Island group.
