The ideal snowy mountain village
I arrived in Interlaken to catch this train to Grindelwald on a wet and rainy day and every mountain was behind a cloud. I did some shopping, visited the many chocolate shops and watch places, wandered around the gardens and then before hopping on this train the clouds began to clear. Seeing the mountains emerge from the clouds, they almost didn't look real, more like they were floating. Rivers in colours that aren't anywhere else, mountains that float, and the freshest air ever. There's nowhere like Switzerland.
Is there pre reservation for this train? Is there coach number and seat number as in other countries?
