Memories of our annual family overseas trip to Japan.
Spending our last couple of days in Kyoto. Despite the rainy weather, we managed to visit the golden pavilion at Kinkakuji and strolled through the palace grounds of Nijo Castle. Stopping in between for moments of peace and serenity in the stone gardens of Ryoanji and Keninji. We got lucky as the skies cleared for our day hiking through the torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine to get to the summit of Mt Inari where we caught a glimpse of the cityscape below.
