The Aizu Festival is held each year in the Fukushima prefecture of Japan to honor the 3,000 members of the Aizu clan who fought and eventually perished during the Boshin Civil War in the 1860s.

Each year over volunteers of all ages march down in the parade to honor the samurai, servants, royals and more who fought bravely for the city of Aizuwakamatsu, which to this day is still known and celebrated for it’s rich samurai heritage despite losing the battle and war.

Enjoy some clips from my time at the popular Aizu Samurai Festival and my trip to the Fukushima Five Colored Lakes (Goshikinuma) as I briefly talk about spiritual battles and how we can overcome in Christ!
