  2. Wondering if ATL recently upgraded the exterior of their terminals, they now have a dark metal covering, didn't recognize the airport as ATL until your aircraft turned onto the runway.Thinking that Ground Control had you take off some distance from the threshold looking at the runway striping. The weather sure went downhill as you flew east! Sunny in ATL,low overcast and a good amount of wind buffeting at DAB.Really weird to see your flight as the ONLY aircraft parked at the gate–one wonders if during racing season,DAB's gates are busy? Did the aircraft turn back to ATL?

  3. I learned something new here. I'm familiar with the MD-90. When McDonnell Douglas merged with Boeing I always thought that the MD-90's name changed to the 717. Unbeknownst to me it was the MD-95 that became known as the 717. Great Flight.

  4. This is a great video, but I’m not a big fan of the new color of the Atlanta terminal. I felt like the red and black fit in with the delta planes, because their logo is red. Now it’s just all dark and weird….

  5. Awesome vid! Love the amount of detail you put in the description too it really helps for those who want to travel on the same flightXD

  6. 48:07 good view of Daytona speedway! Even though nobody really flies here still a nice view of the massive racetrack on a cloudy day.

  7. That big turn that some of you are talking about is a DME arc. It's a constant distance turn from an initial approach fix to a fix or in this case, a fix to the approach on the ILS 7L. This turn wasn't that bad. I've seen some Mad Dog pilots be in a constant turn on to the approach. Cranking and banking.

  8. My nearest commercial airport in my area is the Daytona Beach airport. I’ve been there a few times, but never had the opportunity to fly out of that airport!!
