Back in October of 2021, there happened to be a third new US airline starting up operations on the west coast with the aim of connecting secondary cities together point to point. That lasted not even a year, but this video was the flight to get to Reno for the inaugural. It just so happened to be aboard Untied’s smallest jet in their fleet and by far the worst airplane they fly…the CRJ-200. I’ll let the video speak for itself. This was not a very good experience and it had nothing to do with crew. The plane is just awful. Hope you guys enjoy!

You see sure like to complain alot.
I flew the RJ200 it was a pain it l sucks it’s dumpster fire
I mean it's one thing to use an RJ on a flight like SFO-RNO or SFO to BFL but it's another to use it on a route longer than 2 hours which United has been known to do.
What a quick flight.
Are face diapers mandatory again?
Flew on United CRJ200 October 2021 i didnt think it was that bad. Yes its tiny but i was fine for the short hop between IAD-CMH.
As someone who takes nearly 100 flights a year with united and half of those being on CRJ 200 flights 1.5-2Hr flights. I was thrilled when I heard united was dumping air Wisconsin and the CRJ200s.
They’re not bad for 30 minute flight segments but united was constantly using them for 2hr flights while cutting the use of A318s or ERJ-175s at regional airports to save money.
They did start heading the right direction with the CRJ 550s with having first class.
But I’m on a 2HR flight to Denver in (You guessed it) another CRJ 200.
You said that this was the bumpiest flight you have ever been on. Do you blame this on the airline? I don't understand the significance of that comment.
The outside of the plane looks all new and stuff while the inside still looks the same
Youre ugly and stupid. CRJ 200 is better than you in every way. These planes have been providing service for 30 years. They are extremely durable and reliable. Your broke ass wants to fly for free, it would seem. Your $200 ticket to fly in a magical metal tube in the sky will land you on a 200. If you wanna fly on a shitbox ERJ 175, be my guest.

What an entitled piece of human garbage
Nothing novel about not liking the CRJ-200, nobody does. However your advice on just ditching them while a welcome thought is without logic if you are a aviation geek or just an airline critic. CRJ 550 don’t just appear out of thin air. The are redone -700 and there are a limited number of them and they do serve a purpose. Also when criticizing how bad a terminal is make sure it really does look bad and not just busy.
You sound a lot like Mike Judge
on the intro Loved it that you caught a Ride on BART's Newer Cars on the Yellow Line
Am curious how much did you paid because thats flight look suck
If the windows were at least aligned with the passengers shoulders, it would be slightly less bad
Delta said they're retiring their CRJ200s by the end of 2023!
It's always bumpy landing in Reno……I flew in a few years ago on a bigger international flight from Canada and it was like being on a roller coaster…..I guess the desert winds play a factor in it…
I used to be a flight attendant on those for 6.5 years. I kind of miss it sometimes
The CRJ sucks, but Skywest owns them all and are incredibly cheap to operate. I fly the E175 so thankfully rarely have to ride on those.
Try Southwest's Oakland (or San Jose) to Reno next time.
On December 29. 2022, the aircraft you flew was NOT in service for the last seven plus days.
I always thought this jet sucked but then I rode in the middle seat of a United 737 after and it was even worse. Made the CRJ feel downright roomy
Gosh I love BART so much!
