Work culture is pretty different in Japan than in New Zealand, and I think it’s really important to understand that as much as possible if you’re interested in working here. Especially with time off, knowing your rights and what you’re entitled to is important!

Interesting video as always. Do you have any idea if it's common for JET ALT's to take time off/ return home for the Christmas period in December? Or would this be frowned upon?
