The Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens of Kandy Sri Lanka is known to be one of the best in Asia. The botanical gardens are 5.5 KM West of the city of Kandy so it isn’t on everyone’s Kandy travel itinerary. But today I will visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens of Kandy and decide, it is worth it?

    if you are still in kandy get arranged a tour to university of peradeniya . Such a beautiful place . And also check on hanthana hike which is one of the hardest but remarkable hikes in srilanka .โค

    Hakgala botanical garden in Nuwara Eliya would be a different experience. You can see there trees growing 1800m above the sea level

    Oh such an incredible and a breathtaking place where you could learn about flora until cows come home ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’
    There's is also a place in here where you see bats in large numbers and at times they get quite freaky, crazy and noisy too…๐Ÿ˜‚โค๏ธ

    Thought of sharing this. When the man Vijaya ( he was not a prince but a notorious man who was deported from India. If he was a prince, why the heck he deceived a tribal queen Quanee and later got rid of her and establish his kingdom here?.) Came to this land there were four tribes. They were called :
    Deva ( god tribe)
    Yaksha ( devil tribe)
    Naga (serpent tribe )
    Raksha (demon tribe)
    So beware!!!! Of gods, devils, demons and serpents ๐Ÿ˜‚
