Snowy Night In Freezing Japan | Asahikawa Hokkaido
Spirit of Japan TV
It’s winter in freezing Japan and on this cold winter night I am taking a snowy walk in Asahikawa a large city in Hokkaido (旭川 北海道 ). Asahikawa is the Hokkaido’s second largest city after Sapporo, and on this snowy evening, it’s a lovely place for a walk.
On this icy winter night, I’m taking a night walk around San-Roku Gai and along Kaimono Koen. Heiwa-dori Kaimono Koen is Japan’s first permanent pedestrian-only street, and it is full of restaurants, karaoke bars, and shops. From December, it is lit by beautiful winter illuminations. It’s a freezing cold snowy evening, with temperatures down to minus 15, but the falling snow makes this an amazing spectacle as I walk through the snow towards Asahikawa Station. I hope you enjoy the ASMR ambient noise on this wonderful winter walk Japan!
