Are you looking to become a Digital Nomad? Are you wondering what a typical day looks like for a Digital Nomad in Japan, running a YouTube channel, doing a Workaway AND teaching English on Italki?
This video details a pretty standard day for me as a Digital Nomad in Hiroshima, Japan, where I have been since before Christmas 2017. Yes, you don’t just have to go to a Co-working space in Bali or Chiang Mai!
In this video, I cover the following –
– Admin including e-mails, social media
– Workaway in a hostel
– Filming and editing a YouTube video
– Thumbnail design
– Uploading a video
– Planning 25 Italki English lessons for the week
– Skype call with future Workaway
I hope this gives you a good idea of the reality of Digital Nomad life. It purposely has NO MUSIC to highlight the realness and make you feel as you’re really there!
Enjoy!

FINALLY! A day in the Life video! What's you're experience as a Digital Nomad? Or is this something you would want to Do?
Let me know in the comments!
This video features an epic development in regards to my next move!
Hey David! I watched til the end. Definitely not boring. ☺️
Was entertained. Definitely gonna give it a try with André working at hostels. Do you just walk in or email them first?
I like the hostel!
how dare you use my most hated alert sound eveeeeeeeeeeer
Really interesting video David. Not all YTubers always want to share their warts n' all, bread and butter kind of day with the world i don't think. At 13:50 you could not (understandably) hide your delight regarding the upcoming Tokyo work. Great stuff ! Re the hair at the start – i went to a barber back in the day (barber t'up north) who only did short back and sides. I remember one lad once asking for his hair like David Bowie – he still got short back and sides – so yes be careful.
hi david kool day in a life vid,, is there other workaway people at the hostels,, and also I,m guessing you can use pasmo or suica cards on the trams in Hiroshima
Gatsby! 🌟
MATE YOU JUST VLOGGED
did you put crocks … 😀
should make a different video on "how to make a Japanese bed"
Awesome Video David, I had no idea you was that busy :). Looking forward to your new project in Tokyo … When do you leave Japan ?
Honest as always David. Thanks for the truth. Funny bathrm mirror, here in Prague I have to use a step up to see in mine! My clippers are battery but I also got a clipper with 4 blade lengths that is just , ah manual no power. Not as good but in a pinch better than nothing.
Hi. Also thanks for the Cat Cafe from a different vid. In Prague I'd been walking past one called just Cat Cafe thinking it was a cutesy cafe as I didn't know cat cafes existed! Brilliant! I walk there from my accommodation. 😽😼😻
I cant tell you how very, very much I hate you right now for that intro/outro music. I would go so far as to say loathe. For shame sir, FOR SHAME!
haha nice vid
Lol is this the video you referred to on IG about changing beds in Japan?? I didnt come directly here so I cant remember.. entertaining video! 🙂
Hello! May I ask, what type of Visa is needed to stay in Japan for like 3months up to a year working online. And where to stay for that long if apartments require at least 1 or 2 years of stay. Thanks 🙂
