Railroad Journeys in Japan | Episode 8: Hitoyoshi, Kumamoto, Kyushu

Not many people know Hitoyoshi, but I wanted to experience river rafting in Japan this time because my last attempt (Yoshino River in Shikoku in 2008) was canceled due to a historical storm. Hitoyoshi is located in the southern part of Kumamoto Prefecture, surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. While the town experienced the worst storm of the century in July 2020, Kuma River has restored its beauty and rafting tours are back in business.
