A Dhaba owner outside of Muzaffarabad pulled a reverse uno card on my Nahi Chahiye Ji (नहीं चाहिए जी) saying (a phrase I usually use to fend off street scammers). He said Paise Nahi Chahiye (पैसे नहीं चाहिए)!

Taken from my roadtrip to #Muzaffarabad https://youtu.be/Hih2zUJZZTM

Restaurant name is Gilaniyah Hotel Restaurant. It’s passed Kohala on the way to #Muzaffarabad. It’s not on Google Maps or anything.

Some people have been saying that this doesn’t happen in India… In India, we have Atithi Devo Bhava “Guest is God.” And here’s one example of it in action https://www.instagram.com/p/CASMnr-l-xH/ that clip is from this market tour video https://youtu.be/NJo6pq_xYhg. There are many such similarities in #Indian and #Pakistani #culture.

  1. Dear this is the love from the pakistani people the most people don't want money from foreign tourists….

  2. I love how your showing us the true picture of Pakistan and India. These countries have always fascinated me. Wish I could travel there!

  3. You are in a Restaurant which is excatly in the middle of Azad Kashmir, 30 min ride from Muzaffarabad and 10 min ride from Kohala.

  4. Karl you are breaking most of the stereotype in Pakistan… Actually Pakistanis are too good and their hospitality is awesome man❤️❤️❤️

Love and respect from India to my neighbour pakistan ❤️❤️

  5. I traveled the country of USA doing labor and living in my vehicle.
I found poor people help more. More generous. More trust. Lobster fisherman gave me free shelter in cottage he wasn't using. Stuff like that. A farm lad in Iowa replaced the radiator in my vehicle…free. wouldn't even let me touch his tools or lend a hand. In Georgia a peanut farmer pulled me out of a ditch and insisted I follow to his house for family dinner. Dirt road people.
This happens alot in rural areas, away from cities.

  6. You can give the same amount of money to the poor 🧸

It would be a good deed and help them❣️😇

  7. Dearest Karl, I have been watching your channel a lot for the past month or so and it has had such a positive impact on me. I used to be so angry at Indian people for being dishonest all the time (I believe that many of those who emigrate ultimately behave badly abroad where they might not at home) but you have shown me a side of Indian/South Asian people I didn't know existed (other than in the odd documentary about an incredible individual).

Thank you thank you thank you Karl JI! I LOVE your work so much!

  8. Pakistan is very beautiful..
Everycountry has good and bad people. 98%= good people (normal public)
    02%= bad people (Ministers)

    and for that 2% fight starts..hateness born…🤔

    🇮🇳❤🇵🇰

  9. Lol…..I've been to Pakistan for a friend's wedding….everyone took my money……must be the blonde hair
