長野県木曽郡木曽町開田高原にて、２０１１年２月に撮影した作品です。
寒さの峠は超えて、日々、春の兆しがところどころに感じられる様になります。陽射しも少しずつ強まって、日当たりの良いところの雪は解け、地面が見える様になります。そんな猫の額ほどの地面には、小鳥たちが集まり、草の小さな種でも食べているのでしょう！春近しが感じられます。

The cold pass is over, and every day you can feel the signs of spring here and there. The sunlight is getting stronger little by little, the snow in the sunny places is melting, and the ground can be seen. Birds gather on the ground, which is about the size of a cat’s forehead, and eat even the smallest seeds of grass! I can feel the approach of spring.
