The best cheap thing to do on a rainy day in Tokyo. We spent the day inside at Taito and Sega arcades and could not believe the amazing skills of Japan’s mega gamers. The dark and loud rooms are amazing enough, but watching the local people play on the arcade games is unbelievable. They are so good! And we were so bad. We tried some of the music games, dancing games and I even played Type or Die where you have to type to survive. I will never ever forget the wall of sound in those places…
Taito / Sega / Super Potato arcades in Tokyo are a great free thing to do in Tokyo. The Japanese gamers are just incredible at all the games. Each game costs about 100 Yen, and you can even pay with the Suica card.
