【駅探訪No.51】JR三角線 三角駅にて(At Misumi Station on the JR Misumi Line)



三角駅は熊本県宇城市にあるJR三角線の終着駅です。宇土半島の先端に位置し、熊本方面から沖合の天草諸島や島原半島に連絡するため、1899年12月25日に開業しました。そんな三角駅で、駅周辺や構内の風景を撮影してみました。

Misumi station, located at Uki City in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, is a terminal of JR Misumi line. The station is located at the tip of the Uto Peninsula and it was opened on 25th December, 1899, to connect Kumamoto with the Amakusa Islands and the Shimabara Peninsula. I took this movie of station and vicinity at Misumi station on the JR Misumi line.

    This time, did you know that the Ishiuchi Dam Station (石打ダム駅), which is also located on the Misumi Line, has a rather creepy version of the "Hanyū no Yado" (埴生の宿) song? If you want to hear it, you can search for "石打ダム駅 接近メロディ".
