This week, we start off with parks news and the latest price hike for tickets in Florida. As previously reported, Walt Disney World has introduced park-specific pricing for one-day, one-park tickets. That new pricing structure is now in effect.
Then, with the Avatar sequel hitting theaters this weekend, Disney Parks are already starting to celebrate. And director James Cameron apparently wants Flight of Passage to get an update, too!
We’ve some construction updates to talk about, with new movement on Moana Journey of Water and Tron Lightcycle Run moving forward, and the new Polynesian expansion starting to progress.
Genie+ will now allow you to make modifications to your reservations. That’s the good news, the bad news for Disney, is that Disney is being sued over alleged patent infringement for Genie and Genie+ technologies. What will this mean for the app?

Favorite bathroom Hoop-Dee-Doo review – I didn't count but seems like 100 toilets & another 100 urinals but it was designed for show intermissions.
Indy definitely needs some real attention as far as maintenance. My issue with changes/updates is that several of the last ones did not do it well and truly improve the attraction. If they put in the effort to do it really well, it will pay off and most people – even die hard fans, will be surprised and love it. That’s how i feel about Tower of Terror in DCA changing to Guardians. Was SO upset about it and convinced it would not be as good, but they did it so well- i am still kinda amazed how much i love it (although, I’m also grateful i can still enjoy the original at WDW 😁)
PS – just like one of the viewers said, when I asked my family about help in planning my last trip to Disney, the very first recommendation was WDWNT! Thanks for everything 😍

If Patrick is getting the AP discount applied automatically when using his linked account through Shop Disney app or website, I would like to know how. I only get the AP discount when they have an AP code that I have to manually enter. As Rob said, I used the shop parks app in the past to get the discount using my linked account. I have never received an automatic discount with my linked account through the shop disney app or website. As always, I think Rob is correct.

RIP Shop Parks app. That was awesome. You could see where any item was in stock at any location in WDW, you got your AP discount, you could have things shipped. Bring it back!
