Nagano Gion Festival 2022-Zenkoji Nakamise-dori, which is crowded with the opening of “Stands Tour”

▼About the Nagano Gion Festival
It is a festival of Yasaka Shrine, and is also called the Gion Festival of Zenkoji Temple.
Yasaka Shrine, whose head office is Yasaka Shrine in Kyoto, is located on the corner of Kaminishinomon Street, which is lined with temple lodgings in front of Zenkoji Temple. It was once known as one of the three major Gion festivals in Japan, along with Kyoto’s Yasaka Shrine and Hiroshima’s Itsukushima Shrine.

This year, it was held ahead of schedule to coincide with the Zenkoji Gokaicho.
It is held in July every year.
