The Tottori Sand Dunes is the biggest attraction in the prefecture. It’s a place I’ve always wanted to visit so I’m excited to check it …

  1. All these desert-themed dessert foods and yet nobody thought to come up with a Sand Sand(wich)?

  2. I was there in I think the first week of April 2019. Less tourists then, probably due to the start of the season. We had a nice temperature of around 18 degrees Celsius. This area is huge! We visited only the western part and even that took some hours! Very beautiful though.

  3. Hi guys, Great video. The Tottori Sand Dunes looked beautiful with the golden sandy slopes against the backdrop of the blue sky and ocean it looked peaceful and relaxing there. The food and desserts looked delicious as well 😋. Japan has so many different climates, as around this time last year you both were in Hakodate walking through the snow just before Christmas. Thanks for entertaining us , have a great day. 😀👍 1:02:27

  7. I just want to thank you both for the hard work you put into your channels. Whenever I’m anxious or not feeling well, I put on one of your videos and I always feel better. Your authenticity and kindness are helping more people than you know! 💛

  8. I feel your anxiety with heights. The good thing IS that you know it. I think your anxiety might be lessoned it you know the topography. For us, with the camera it doesn't look that steep. Talk to Satoshi, have him walk a bit more conservatively. Look uphill.

  9. I grew up in an area of the Midwestern US with lots of sand dunes (near Lake Michigan, not the ocean!) so this looks so familiar even though it's on the other side of the world and a much bigger body of water!

Just had some amazing yuzu rakkyo from Kokoro Care Package with our curry last night and thought of you!

  10. Hi Guys 👋⛱️

  11. Thank you for doing a video of these sand dunes. I had no idea there was an area like this in Japan. It was beautiful.

  12. Ive known about the dunes since john from only in japan hitchhiked that area years ago and have def been wanting to visit and I will in the future! I would love to go sand sledding. Def not that afraid of these heights. Walking through sand is exhausting though

  13. Those sand dunes are spectacular, btw. I was laughing during your trek above those sand dunes, they did look treacherous standing on the edge. You made it back to civilization unscathed lol. Peace.
